Is a Music Producer, Singer/Songwriter, and Session Musician based in Cape Town. He has worked with various artists in South Africa in various projects as Songwriter, Session Musician, and Producer. Tyrone's most recent endeavour sees him move from the background, out of his comfort zone, and into the foreground as a singer. His raspy vocals and honest heart-on-the-sleeve style lyrics see him bring a unique perspective on life as we know it. You can see Tyrone as Producer/Co-writer on Karin Kortjie's "Live Out loud", as Producer on Tankiso Mamabolo's "For You" and more recently "Three Words" by Gareth James. Musician
Tyrone made his entry into the music industry as session guitarist and has now graduated to multi-instrumentalist. You can find him in the credits on songs such as "Heart Boxing" by Jimmy Nevis and has appeared frequently alongside Katlego Maboe on South Africa's beloved Morning Lifestyle Show Expresso. His more prestigious accolade was being part of the band of the Award Winning Musical "Aunty Merle the Musical", and "Aunty Merle! It's A Girl" which was written by Marc Lottering, produced by Anwar Mc kay and directed by Lara Foot. More recently, Tyrone is part of "The Revival", a tribute to Cat Stevens and Rodriguez and "Alice & The bad Moon", a tribute to Smokey and Creedance Clearwater Revival.
Designer
Tyrone Marinus is also a Web, Graphic and Clothing Designer. As co-owner of Marinus Media and Sailor Brown Clothing, Tyrone get's to explore his other artistic outlets. With Marinus Media serving corporate clients for conversion and sales, Sailor Brown offers casual clothing for the more alternative human.
